EPOCA

I started working for the Italian newsweekly EPOCA in 1985, when I was still a photo-journalist, that’s why I was able to cover not only movies, but other subjects that interested me. I wrote articles about literature (on Ray Bradbury, Michael Crichton, Normal Mailer), architecture and politics.  EPOCA also published some of my photo essays, such as Teenage USA.  See Photographs by Elisa Leonelli.
Here’s some examples

It was deeply satisfying to work in close collaboration with New York Correspondent Romano Giachetti, a gentleman and a mentor.  In 1991 he agreed to my proposal of a story about the answers of Hollywood stars to my questions about the Gulf War.
